Flight Series

Three following works are derived from digital enlargements of public-domain photographs taken by the Wright brothers at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, during their first flights between 1903 and 1905 using laserprint carbon transfer. Collaged text elements originate from my grandfather Elbridge Kirker's sermon scrapbooks, written and collected around this same time.
